It surely looks different than the 'classical' S&L flaw and the ones I've seen on Meybauers and Souvals!!?

To die crack or not to die crack?
It must be the 9 o'clock arm since the center beading is in the same relation than mine (and I guess george's also). There is nothing at all to see on my cross, not even the slightest starting of something not any falt spots.
Interestingly Gordon mentioned today in another thread that the EK1 dies of K&Q were not used after the war - those are in private ownership of a former employee.
Now here we have an unmarked (= pre 41) K&Q with a "flaw" against at least two (most likely numerous) marked K&Q (post 41) with no "flaw".
I guess it's not a flaw. It just doesn't look like a crack in a die.
