    have a look on dietrichs comment. it´s a very early piece, earlier than a L/52. So it´s a very rare gc in gold and I´m proud to own this nice rare piece.
    It will come in the next book of dietrich maerz.

        Since these comments, there have been examples found WITH the flaw AND the full 20 mark. Until this point no definitive proof exist to prove these one way or the other ... no matter how hard those that believe NOT wish.

          Nice cross! I also have a "heavy" 20 DKiG in one of my groups that doesn't have the star burst flaw, although the number flaw is present. It was awarded in June 1943. It came in the sort of case typically associated w/ these...ie the mushroom-style button and looser draped silk in the upper lid.
