There is signs of soldering on this one which is a posotive sign but the eagles tails are completely drooped....

Yes.. I'm beginning to realize this to be the case. I have only just started researching these particular badges and are now seeing the bad against the good.

At least I'm offering up bad examples for people to stay away from...

Unfortunately, I agree. Bad, with poor details and construction. Hope you have better luck in the future on these things.

The good news is I actually bought the first one and came straight home and posted it for opinions. Luckily you guys were able to set me straight with it being a 'Fake'. I went back and got my money back. So it all worked out OK in the long run. Will have to sit tight and wait until a known 'Good' example at a reasonable price shows up.
