Hello, Ernst's friend here. I know this thread has been open for awhile, but I was having problems with my camera. I've gotten a better pic, not quite as good as the one Adrian posted, but I think it'll be able to show you everything you need to determine whether it is fake or not.


I hope that does it. I would like to also take the time to thank everybody here for helping me out, it looks like I made a stupid first-timers mistake (at least with the issue packet), but I'd rather know that I screwed up than believe my EK and packet were real. I maintain hope that the EK2 itself is real.

The details must be as sharp as possible and the swastika and date must have a good contrast with the core-bagroung color. Try to take a sharp picture and you could manipulate the contrast with software

Tried taking a few new pics. Took the best one and adjusted the contrast to about what I think you're looking for. I appreciate all of your patience.

I hate to bump threads, but I would greatly appreciate if anybody here could look at the newest pictures I posted and see if they can determine whether or not my EK2 is real. Thank you.
