    Ek2 ??

A friend of mine got this a few weeks back and sent me this picture, I would like to know what you guys think of it. He said he got it at a 'gun show' for $200. I am no expert so I would like to know whether or it was a good buy or if hes been had?

This is the only picture sorry.

    Regards
    Ernst

$200 sounds too pricey if you ask me

The cross stands a chance from these pics but better ones will be needed to be sure. $200 for a packeted EK2 is not far off a reasonable price but considering the packet is, as Daniel points out, a fake, it makes it a very expensive EK2.

way over priced. $100 - 125 for the ek2 is a normal price. but around $80 for a small paper pack for the cross is insane, fake or not. its just not worth $80. Not even $50.

priced wrong. of course if the ek2 is a juncker or some other popular or rare maker the price will go up.

In order to be sure, we'll need to see a close-up, and clear, photo that clearly shows the beading, date, and swastika details.

Yep, that pic doesn't help at all, he would need to take the pic using the macro function and without flash in daylight if possible.
The ribbon looks good from the first pic though.

And he needs to take it out of the case to photograph it.

Can you see any stamped number (maker mark) on the ring?

Doesn't really help much Ernst, the details need to verify the cross are unclear. Have a look at the pic below, this is the sort of thing to aim for.......
Robert Pierce's photo. (I will remove it if required.)
