I believe I see a maker mark '50' on the pin for Karl Gschiermeister, Wien. Is that what you see with a magnifying glass? Does anyone with another '50' KVKI have any comments?

Dont´s have any KVKs but I also see a 50 on the pin. Case looks good.

the pin is marked 50. This was brought to me by a soldier who bought in germany in the early 60s. I also think the case looks okay. So that made me think the badge had a chance.

Sorry if I am wrong, but for me it's a nice textbook "50" and I like it.

For comparision, here's a scan of my KVK1 without swords, marker marked '50', which has previously been a 'thumbs up' both on here and other forums. Sorry for the quality of the scans. It actually looks much crisper and better 'in the hand'
