The inner corners of the beading look too pointed to be a Wiedmann IMO

        Hi robert,

not a Wiedmann...Catch isn't on a plate, and the ' 3 ' in the date is very different.

        Interesting ek though......

        Best regards,
        Ben

          Thanks Ben,

I had doubts too. It just didn't match up to my SB. Oh well, I had to ask for help. Thanks you both.

            It's an unknown maker.
This hinge and pin system was used on "rounded 3" EK's, too.

            Regards

              Thanks Daniel,

I knew you would know something about it. One more mystery to solve.

                Daniel,

Do you know who the makers were of the 'round 3' EKI's with the same pin assembly?

I beliebe one of the possible maker's was Deumer.

Here is a pic of a 1914 EK I (TR) with (IMO) a Deumer frame.
But I'm not sure, because Deumer normally used for his 1914 EK's the old Schinkel design.

                  Regards

                    Another maker could be Juncker.

                      Thank you Daniel,

Yes, that does have the catch of the early Deumer, the flat wire. I have a piece here, maker unknown to me, with the similar hinge...circa @1920-1925...

That's quite a rare cross Daniel,

I like the pin assebly on this cross, overall everything - the Juncker.

That cross montage I posted, I always gave thought to it being a Meybauer. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure but I think Meybauer used for his 1914 EK's the distinctive Meybauer pin like on the '39 versions, too.
