That I am sorry to say is not correct , it is not a distinctive feature only found on and exclusivly identifies a W&L ! There are much better features to show this .
As that 'flaw' - which I would like to call a 'pinched corner' instead - to me is of complete different origin ,
Something that I wanted to show some time ago . I have a full Juncker cross with that same corner.
you are right, my 1914 EK II by Juncker has the same flaw.
IMO the flaw is even so a good feature to detect W&L EK II's, because all W&L EK II's have this flaw and only a small series of Juncker has this flaw

If you see these flaws then it's OK.
I have two W&L EK II's where you must use a magnifier to detect these.
