Please make a close up of the cross hatching.
            I can't see it.

            There are two possible maker's.

            1. Wächtler & Lange (without cross hatching)
            2. C.E. Juncker (with crosshatching)

            Regards

            Daniel

Not the best pictures , but just enough detail to say W&L frame with 1st core type .

There is another distinctive feature, which show us W&L.

                Regards

                  Daniel :
That I am sorry to say is not correct , it is not a distinctive feature only found on and exclusivly identifies a W&L ! There are much better features to show this .
As that 'flaw' - which I would like to call a 'pinched corner' instead - to me is of complete different origin ,
Something that I wanted to show some time ago . I have a full Juncker cross with that same corner.

                    Hey guys.
                    What is the conclusion??
Is it a Juncker or W&L???
                    Regards Thomas
                    Best regards Thomas.

                        Hi Douglas,

you are right, my 1914 EK II by Juncker has the same flaw.
IMO the flaw is even so a good feature to detect W&L EK II's, because all W&L EK II's have this flaw and only a small series of Juncker has this flaw

                        Regards

                            Daniel ;
What about the W&L bead twist/spiral then ? Juncker does not have that .
A feature that is a part of the die and cannot be changed externaly .

If you see these flaws then it's OK.
I have two W&L EK II's where you must use a magnifier to detect these.
