    107 ek2?

I ran across this from a seller and he sent me this photo of the makers mark. He said it was 107. I have not been able to find a 107 ek2 to compare it to, but could it be a 100 with a screwed up 0 at the end? thanks

Would be difficult to say who made this EK without a photo of the entire cross.
But the "hump" could indicate a 100 EK.
But I think there were one or more makers that used this "hump" for fastering the ring to the cross.

        Ek

I think it is a 100 based on the position of the dates. Jim

It's new to find it with a maker's mark.

grueni is right (as usual) I would expect to see a thicker beading on a 107 as well

Definately not a 107 cross, wish I could find one but I don't think this will happen.

just to answer a question. YES there were several makers that had that little hump.

Not to my memory, maybe in the thread 'EKII list pics' by Rick S. Now, the challenge is on for someone to post a mint Wild EKI. I've seen them.

                        wild cross

I posted this cross on a couple of other sites and have been told it is correct and original. I still am waiting to see, a cross of an original 107 to compare. any ideas of where I can find a photo of an original? I was told by one dealer to snap it up as it is very hard to find one.

                          Arkansas,

Can you ask the dealer for larger images? The details in the images provided, when blown up, wash out. You know he's capable of doing this, looking at the maker mark image he provided. Save yourself the grief of having to return it if it turns out to be a fake.

                            cross

I asked and got basicly the same low detailed photos. I will post them here maybe they have a dif. angle or something.

I would still like to see better close up pictures then those provided.

As said earlier, if the seller can make a nice close up of the MM, then he should be able to do the same of the whole frame.

                              Just my 2 cents

                              /Flemming

PS It is the excact same pictures he have been giving you again!
