Wow, fine looking KC by K&Q. Europe must be a TR heaven. You wouldnt find that here in Canada. At the local antiques palces usually a War Merit cross 2nd class w/swords is $100. I've seen 25 yr faithful service award and a black wound badge for for $110.

A nice K&Q RK right out of the woodwork as some wellknown dealer would say.

Allthough this cross comes from an obviously non-militaria-related source and has wearing signs, it has the infamous 3-dots in the left 12-o'clock arm. Since "the" book was published, crosses like this one will continue to be labelled with a ? and this probably totally undeserved....

Yeah and usually overpriced fakes to boot

If I actually saw one like this, it would be a place that wouldn't take debit card, credit card and I'd be $50 short with 10 people eagerly licking their lips behind me

                            Hello

Your friend appears that have bagged a bargain.

If he fancies taking a quick profit on it I'd happily offer the price of an EK1 for it

                            Regards
                            David

Dave, you should thank your friend for buying it. Just think, if you had bought it, your hands would be shaking so much that you wouldn't be able to type and tell us or take any decent pics so I think he did you a favour.
