    Latest EK2 - '16' Alois Rettenmaier.

Just wanted to show the latest addition (thank you Magnus) to my EK2 collection, one of the more scarce makers to find, a maker marked '16' from Alois Rettenmaier.
Of interest is the mis-stamped front frame, most noticeable along the top length of the 3 o'clock arm, the bottom right corner of the same arm and on the bottom right corner of the 6 o'clock arm. Enjoy the pics.....

lovely cross Adrian, am I right in saying, the die used to make your cross, is used alot? The beading doesnt seem very clearly defined.

whats that thing on the 3 o'clock arm, it looks like the beading thickness is half of what it should be

very nice cross anyway. Love it

              Adrian,

On the 3:00 and 6:00 armss is the beading hollow, like it was filed? I can't imagine the die being this bad.

              Excellent photos!

              Here's my Rettenmaler to compare...

                        Thanks Steinar,

Lately I've been trying to bring the quality of my photos up to everyone else's on the forum in order for others to identify their unmarked crosses easier. I only hope I can get them to the high standard you all hold. Thanks again.
