Morning guys, got this at 500 am. It is not the normal W&Ls I have ever seen and it is quite a wide frame. The paint is how I would say "Shinckley" It is like the texture on a Schinkel. Anyone seen anything like this?

Hey Dion,
Unusual! Is the suspension ring attached to the cross on both sides of the frame?
I'm thinking either a replacement ring or a manufacturer bought in some rings for their EKs from W&L or W&L bought in some frames/cores to meet production targets when they (potentially) had a problem in manufacturing.....
Saying that though, you would think that they would've bought in more than one ring/frame/core so why don't we see more of these.....?
Unless it was a one off example for something.....

Lemme foto the area. It was pitch dark when I got it and then the sun came and I looked at it and was like "Huh"!!! The core is almost like a schinkel finish with the pebbly texture. Hold on lemme make some more pics.Iam Uncle Sam
