Any Hope for this Knights Cross w/ Oaks?

Here are some pics of a KC with Oak Leaves that the friend of a friend is selling (I haven't seen it in person). Any hope for this KC- I know almost zero about them.

About oakleaves I am not sure, but cross is good! I saw 2 similar crosses from ground, they are practicly same.

That just tells us that somebody dug out some fakes! Wouldn't be the first time! The cross shown here is a known fake.

Before planning to buy a knights cross you should order the book "The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross". You can't find a better investment considering the money you could loose in buying a fake one.
This fake is a "upright 2" try. Check on page 89 of this more than excellent book and you will see how an original "upright 2" is supposed to be. This fake doesn't even have the well known "cross hatching" at the inner corners.
Everything is in this book.

That cross is crap and was never worn by a German soldier. Perhaps by a Russian reenactment soldier 2 months ago?
