Just realised you wanted a hinge pic, but the hinge cannot be seen as it is covered over.

I wanted to know that indeed, because all the cases that I have seen about "hordes" were with the hinge covered over

Then, we have to wait the Helmut opinion about if some were unmarked, in his hoard.

If Helmut does answer then i am 99% sure that he will say that some were unmarked. Can't see this one being just a minty "26", if Craig was so sure why ask Helmut, because after writing that i think he thought that actually we have just all made an assumption that they were all marked.
The case says it all to me. I have an EKI that is as good as the best of the Horde crosses, many collectors do, but i am yet to see a square button case as good as a Horde case.
Infact if anyone has a square button case in as good as condition as a Horde case then could they show us, would be very interested to see that.
              Ant.

                    Nice cross Ant,
Superb stuff Mike, would really appreciate a picture, especially if it still has that sheen that the Horde ones have.
The more info we can get on the Horde crosses the better.
                    Ant.

                          Hi Laurence!
Thanks for that, a very nice case, inside a carton?
It is different to a Horde case, the horde cases have the hinge covered & square button. Yours is one of the nicest cases out there but still don't think it has the same mint sheen of a horde case.
                          Ant.

Hi You are correct, it does not have the sheen of the hoard ones. And yeah it came with the outer carton.

Could you post a pic of the carton, just love 'em but unfortunately still don't own one.
