Angolia's For Fuhrer and Fatherland is a good one. There's also another "Combat Badges of the 3rd Reich" on sale on e-stand now. I'm not sure it tells of award criteria, but looks chocked full of variations and a whole selection of badges.

- "Medals and Decorations of Hitler's Germany" by Robin Lumsden.

- "Medals & Decorations of the Third Reich" - Heinrich Dohle, 1943 - this has been translated into English and reprinted recently.
