Well,
This one is causing me troubles identifying. To start with, the metal seems to be good neusilber, although devoid of all frosting, IF it ever had any. The ribbon is large and thin like an early war piece, soldered closed. The core has a double-stamped 1813 date. Die is obviously worn, or the maker, if a faker (I like that - it rhymed), has poor quality control. The excess solder on the frame, from welding the jump ring on, is really bad. The joints seem tight and very well soldered. Did I miss anything? Oh, yes, the frame-to-core fit is very tight, no irregular gaps.
It's up for opinions, please.
Robert
