Gordon, Just so I have the corrections marked correctly in my copy: the closeup of the date on p. 198 is actually a Klien and the closeup on p. 204 is a Juncker.

I had intended to leave it for around 6 months (i.e. about now) for feedback of any errors anyone had spotted then post a link to a page set upon my website as an Errata.
If anyone else has spotted any let me know and I'll post the corrections on my site in the next few days.Comment

I totally agree with Jeff. Were it not for Gordon I would not be collecting anymore. His help and references made this hobby into something we can believe in and not just have faith in.Comment

sorry i have not responded before,i have a large reference libary a lot of old books that i also use as well as the new one's available my comments regarding Gordens old book was in no means derrogertry,its that the info in old books is at times different to the new ,i know information is ever expanding but in looking at old text books certain things seem to be missing pherhaps you members can fill them in,in the old ones Gordens 1975 iron cross book ,for Fuhrer and fatherland,Ailsbys old books and others there appears to be no mention of certain things eg.
The rounded 3 in the iron cross date?
The curved ends to the date box in ic bars?
The dotted i in SILBER on oaks etc?
The cross hatching?
all these details appear to be missing in the old books ,Why .
When did these details 1st appear in print?
