I have a Trifold EK2 1939 as well, and I have to say that I never sen it mentioned above that not just Austrian got them but Hungarians, and as mentioned after Austria had the regulations like Germany, for 100% sure the Hungarian`s had kept their regulations in wearing the medals because even today they have the trifold decorartions. I think the EK2. with trifold was mainly worn by the Hungarians.
