this spange is really vexing me. The hand finishing is a bit awol, but not unknown. The hinge is different from usual, but maybe OK. Most details seem to match up, but the one big problem for me is the pebbling/numerals in the date box. This also 'could' be OK, there's not too much info on this 'unknown' maker... I do know that it's different from the best known fake of this maker, and it's a new one on me
I suppose all in all, there's too many questions hanging over it, for an easy purchase these days IMO.
If it was cheap, I myself would buy it, just for a real close look, and gamble it. But as it's a 'cased example' I'd imagine it's too much cash for a gamble
There's plenty of other known original one-looker examples around, which wouldn't keep me awake at night

I'm definately not saying this is fake, the date box 'may' be a result of a re-worked die, it's just there is not enough info on this maker to be sure of variants such as this.
In this game, if you're only 90% sure, these days that's usually not enough.
Although saying that, I would gladly buy this for a reduced 'originality unsure' price, and if/when proved OK, re-negotiate or refund. But that's just me, and my egghead-spange-research-brain!
But I just wouldn't feel completely happy shelling out big bucks for a 90%er, and that's my advice to anyone
