Good eyes, Peter. I didn't see the stamp below the catch. Luud may be exactly right, a post-war stamp L/16 to raise the price. I don't have enough knowledge of the proper L/16 stamp to judge, but he does. Perhaps we should see more examples of authentic, original stampings of the L/16 to compare. The frames being bent indicates to me that some messing with the cross is evident.
