Sal, I am afraid I am not sure! I have seen this type of orangey ribbon be referred to as "Loy" ribbon, whether that is an improper reference made by the collecting community, I don't know. But at least collectors refer to it as such.

Good question! I am unsure. I will post some pictures later, perhaps the people with knowledge on this stuff can help. In terms of getting a market price for the KC, I was assuming worse case scenario that the case was post WWII.

It is believed, rightly or wrongly as there isn't, as far as I am aware, any evidence on way or the other, that a company called Karl Loy made these 'orangey' coloured ribbons, hence why collectors use the term 'Loy' when describing them.

Of course some of the 'orangey' coloured ribbons simply be ones which have been exposed for too long to sunlight and have faded.

A very nice RK as well.

The loop oblique cuts are typical of the L/12...so they are a set.

Dont know about the case.

9000 Euos for the RK and ribbon...but you'd get more on a good day...plus whatever for the case (around another 1500 Euros if pre 1945)....the Loy ribbon is especially nice, quite rare actually.
