Here's one I posted recently and most people have seen. One of my better aquisitions, a 1 marked Deschler EK2 in superbe condition. A hard maker to find. This came complete as a set with the matching packet, ribbon and tissue paper the cross is wrapped in. Unissued condition.

The rear of the 1 marked EK2. Not a maker I thought I'd have any time soon.

Here's a shot of the entite set. A nice representative display for an EK collection.

              Here's one I like. It's unmarked but said to be a 65. A nice honest EK1.

Seriously for about 2 years if that. It's scary to see how much I've picked up in that short time.

Finally for now, one of my favorites, the big daddy Deschler EK1, marked 1 on the pin. It's not hard to see why these are regarded as one of the nicer EKs out there.

The rear of the chunky Deschler. Note the short pin. Thanks for looking and all the nice comments.

Thanks, and it was cheap too. All my unmarked crosses I paid less than $200 dollars for. They are often overlooked my people going for the marked ones. I like marked too, but when it comes to first class EKs, why not go for a good deal? All the makers are known. I believe you tried to pick this one up yourself. It sat on the estand for awhile. It really is a nice piece.

Thanks for the comments everyone, and time for an update. Seeing the last post mentioned Meybauers, here is an EK1 marked L/13 on the old style Coke bottle pin. Interesting.
