It looks like it could be real but boy has it gone through the ringer. It gives the appearance that it has gone through a war or something and maybe repaired by the owner, possibly field repaired. The exterior has alot of bangs and bruises but i personally kind of like that it gives it charactor. If you get a chance how about raising the pin so we can get a better look at it as well as the mark under it.

all im going to say is she keeps texting me but wonder if shes after more money ebay to me is a little goldmine i have had loads off luck with it,mint ek1 65 boxed plus 6 helmets ,ss buckles+2,etc etc so i cant really knock it but also had a few lemons but the good outweigh the bad and like you say its about the fun and the hunt,but the best thing is this site as i have had so much help on items,i know im not great at spotting most fakes but have learned a lot on buckles and most helmets i cant thank this site enough,rgds dave
