I bet James now wishes he had never posted it in the first place
Mate, just sit back, relax, open a good bottle of scotch and enjoy looking at what you have. Take your time. you will never have any trouble getting rid of them but once their gone, thats it!!
Your a lucky man.

I recieved several messages about the details of my medals, which i am very grateful for, and also several offers, which were significantly higher than i expected!
I had no idea as to the value of these pieces, and i will definately have to consider my options very carefully.
many thanks for all your support - i hope to post some photos of the other medals i have found soon

Dear James,
As I mentioned in my PM to you, the medals you posted are of exceptional quality/condition and rarity. Weigh your options carefully as you have a very expensive collection of medals there. These pieces are of the "Wolfe-Hardin" variety (top dealer in high end items). Again congrats on a great find.

Hi James, very nice...I'd happily take them off your hands.... Wales is not far from the Wirral and I can always call in and give you that personal dealer kind of service and pay cash.... no, but seriously...I would not sell them quite as yet, if I were you...hold on to them, they will appreciate in value and to be honest, if my granddad ("unfortunately", both served in the Wehrmacht throughout the war from start to finish and were lucky enough to come away with their lives nevermind any Beutegoods) had come home with something like that then I would probably want to keep it just for sentimental value...I still have all of the personal items of both my granddads (photos, medals, docs, etc) and I would never, ever sell them...but, whatever you decide to do with all of this, will no doubt be the right decision for you... great find. Cheers, Torsten.
