I wish my weekend buys would look like that !

Any information on who they belonged too?

      Cheers,

The "battle scarred" Junckers looks great!!!

I don't like the RK with the K&Q loop at all. It doesn't look like a K&Q. According to these photos it looks like a fake RK to me.

        Regards,

        Frank

This is not a K&Q. Fake in my opinion.

                  New Hungarian Fakes !!!

                  Hello Dieter and others :

Just got back in , so could not post this warning any sooner !

Your picture 13 in post #14 is a FAKE ! See picture for proof .

RK's I know not much about, so normaly would not noticed anything wrong if I had not in the last few weeks saved these markings .

I received this information and pictures from an European Forum that has run across these very recent fake RK , Oakleaves and some EK and their very unique markings .
From the responce to this thread this or some of it may not be known yet .

A Hungarian company is behind these fakes , they are showing up in Europe and now probably here . Not certain where the dies come from but do not match the maker known features that K&O have .

Send this RK back for sure . Have not checked the other one enough and the the German Cross mm 21 do not know either .

This company sofar has been linked to 6 different 800 silver content stamps .
And the following Maker Marks used are :
                  21
                  L/50
                  L/52
                  L/54
                  L/56
65 and more could show up , if not already .
Not sure how many different awards they have produced .

Lets hope the RK was almost free !
Being sold as I remember as bargan originals .

                  Index :items colored :
*: hollow mounting ring with seam
2nd Zero has flat centre flaw !
Beading shows same beading edge 'hook' features from same die .
Same rim flaw on frame below mounting ring

                  Regards, Douglas

As with this picture the '800' is is harder to tell but fairly certain that 800 is a # 3 on the fake chart .
No luck with the other RK and German Cross , not enough material to compare them with .
I wounder , were they all bought as being original ??? Dieter ?
                    EBay or dealer purchase ?
The attached chart I got shows 2 different frame dies for the RK's with various markings . Mark combinations probably to be encountered . Have no full pictures of the RK,s .

The Hungarian Chart with fake frames , maker marks and purity grades !
A good collection chart of one manufacturer that will help to avoid an expensive mistake .

Well look at this way you got an awesome real RK and a DKiG, which is more than what I will have in ten years (well maybe I will get a RK in four, already saved $1,500 for one). But sorry about the fake.

My beauty in my collection is a NPEA student leader dagger by eickhorn.
you can buy them by Wittman for 6 to 7000 $ .

But it was a gift from my Grandfather he brought it back from Germany in 1944
He was in labour there . He Died 5 years ago .
Never told me how he got it . Who knows how he got it .
He took the story with him.

My wife kills me if I bought a item over 500 $
Women , they dont understand our hobby

I bought behind her back a WKC heer dagger on the e-stand for 350 Euro.
                              She was 1 week .
                              Cheers
