Here is a nice grouping for a kia kriegsmarine sailor. Measurements for the next of kin cross are:

Height 42.19
Width 41.00
ring 11.30
disk 13.41

The ring is soldered at the ends. Swastika's are cut out. It is made out of bronzed tombak.

Are you sure the SC w/o x goes with the group? I think normally the kia family got the hinterbleibene and sometimes a SC gold. I am not sure but I don't think they got the other type crosses. May be different for a non combatant though. Jacques will probably be able to tell us for sure.
