    Mark,

I am assuming that you are comparing the 4-rivet Deschler and not the early 6-rivet?

As you know, I own an early Deschler (six rivet) and am very happy with it. I have passed on Juncker and Godet before as I was not impressed with either example, however both were worn and I would like to see and handle more in the future. I remember liking the Godet a little better of the two I seen.

With that said, I am looking for a nice four rivet Deschler without any enamel damage and it's getting harder to fine these now. Appears to be a lot of them with enamel damage though!

I guess I should read the poll first and note the "maker marked 1 or 2"

      Hi Tim,

Appreciate your thoughts. A six rivet Deschler....... good for you!

      PM sent.

The Juncker is thin and delicate, and attractive with it's differences. The Deschler is heavy, the wreath is unusually high and thin, and it has a clunky appearance.

The most beautiful German Cross, in my opinion, is the early, heavy Godet.
