          Pieter,

          I think you'll always be some steps (or leaps) ahead of some other collectors.
          They collect all kinds of chewing gum...you have the whole sweets store!!!

          But the nce thing is : you're prepared to share and to teach, so others can also profit and enjoy the nice hobby of collecting rare and authentic german militaria.

          But I hope this won't happen to your Tiger....

                            I just read another thread where this type of cross is doubted as to being wartime. I am confused here. Is this "solid" or are these a "believe in it or don't" type thing?

                              There was never any indication that Schickle in general has be doubted by me (or others) as a genuine manufacturer of wartime crosses. The remark was always in regards to the 800 and 835 marking - at least from my side.
