      Good job, Erik

If you keep on collecting and you learn as fast as you did, you can become the new Gordon Williamson

Oh, i´d take the Godet as well

          Dear Gary,

Since I am sure it is Erik's German genes that make him win all "A"s, he will have to receive both German crosses as a reward! If he will fail, he should give two American awards back to you, because then the Texas genes have prevailed! Sounds like a fair deal?
          Cheers, Frank

            Erik,
First off, congratulations on your academic success. Keep up the good work and remember that satisfaction in a job well done can be its own reward. However, a cased EK1 doesn't hurt either!

              Erik,
I would recommend that you take the Godet 1914 EK and be happy with it. Set you goal for the L/11 for next year (and who knows? Maybe dad will find one of your more coveted makers before the end of the next school year).
I think that it is great that you are getting all A's and in the Gifted program to boot! Great job! But I have to stick with your dad on this one- a deal's a deal, and you should be happy with the choice you make.
Perhaps you can negotiate better before the next school year starts- say perhaps a cased EK for each semester you make straight A's?
              My two cents,
              Allan

                Ok Gary,

(Time to bust you some more.) Only one award per year, eh? Ok, the L/11 this year. Next year, a cased EK1 Spange. The following year, an RK. The following year, Oaks. The following year...............

You will have spent Erik's college tuition in no time at all!

GOOD IDEA!! Because both of them are just great. THe things one has the other one does not. But both are just fine to me.

Well I prefer EK1's that were awarded as opposed to purchased at a LDO store, I'd demand a non 'L' Iron Cross-you should find the nicest EK1 at Winklers site and ask him to get you that-that'll give your Dad a nice pinch in his wallet

I still can't decide. I better stay focused on the exams next week. I have room to mess up half of them, but not in Science or English lit.

I guess flipping a coin is a good idea!
