    Mint!

Nice light today as Spring has finally sprung in the UK. I have wanted to photograph these two mint pieces together for some time, today was the day!

It is a funny thing, but copies in mint condition are alot rarer than copies in worn condition! unfortunately, these are mint originals...

Is the cross an S&L 935/4?

                      Thomas,
Yes, it is indeed a 935/4 marked cross. These 2 were put together for a photo only...

A really nice set, but not to be rude or anything...but it looks like there are paint on the 9 o'clock arm?
                            Is it just the pictures?

                            Best regards

                              Flemming,
You are correct, there is blackening of the beading of the 9 o'clock arm. This is a regular feature on S&L crosses in particular and apparently is a 'bleeding' effect from the core. I do not know what causes this but the more knowledgable out there will..
