Hi all. Can anyone tell me the maker of this DKiS and approx. value? The enamel is in perfect condition but the cross does show evidence of wear.

Hello,

Now that I think about it the rivets remind me of a fake Juncker that I had; it was a five rivet but it had the same style. The one that George posted has a catch that is domed in shape and that is one thing I always look for on the "134" marked DK's as the faker's haven't really created a catch like this......Don's does not have it, but does have a mounting plate under the hinge.....these are just some things I found on the reverse. I liked it before, but now that I look closer I am thinking it may be a reproduction. Hope I helped some.

Hello again,

Is this maybe a Deschler six rivet? The rivets look typical for this maker, as does the pin and catch as far as four rivet Deschler's go........but on six rivet Deschler's the hinge is much different.
