I think this is the link you want Darrell, the other points wrong:

I agree it looks like a Floch.

This is the first of these I've had. It came in a grouping I just bought. I know the case is good, but I am at a loss on the cross. Can you give me some pointers as to why this piece is lacking? I am a cloth guy and badges are a area which I am still learning. The quality appears excellent overall. Thanks for any help. I'll withdraw it from the e-stand untill it can be discussed. I was compairing it to the one in Detlev's book, and that one doesn't have a plate for the catch either??

                Hi Paul,

Although mostly a thread about Fake EKs ... the reverse setup of the Floches are always the same. Take a look here and compare the reverse pin / catch and hinge characteristics to yours.

BTW ... almost everyone has been fooled by these at one time or another ...

The one you refer to Paul (on Detlev's Guide p.532) is a different maker. It is a "15" which is different than the one the Floch is trying to represent which is an "L15".

If you look at p.534, that is a correct L15 with Swords. It is the same type as Larry posted above. Note the plate behind the hinge? That's one indicator of an original L15 cross.

I really appreciate all the help guys. This has been a learning experience for me. If I can ever help with SS cloth, please ask. Well, I guess I'll scrap the metal and sell the case. I know it is good.
