I've read through all the old posts on 1957 type EK1 and think the cross I got yesterday is a 1960's era Deumer. Here are the features:
- Very subtle frosting on the ribbing
- Numerous flaws that are most prominent on the 9 o'clock and 6 o'clock arms
- The center does not have the strong leaf vein detail I have seen on the S&L crosses on the forum
- Magnetic center, cross is very thin and lightweight
- Flat pin with a large loop
- Two or three piece construction, how can I tell between two piece or three piece?
- Frame is silver plated on the front and sides, back of cross is not
- No markings
Please let me know if I'm right or wrong and if I should be looking for some other details on the cross!
