      Values

      There are so many different things that must be considered. Rank, name, deed, branch of service, condition, binder present or not, etc.. It is almost an individual thing and each one must be considered before a value can be assigined. Then you are subject to who is looking for which document or does the buyer want a document regardless of who won it.

        Regarding signed and unsigned KC documents, a veteran in Northern California has (had) two KC formal documents which he claims he took from a boxcar that was "full" of documents at war's end. Even if there were 100, that's a lot. I don't remember where he found the box car - which city - but the documents were real.

        He thought they were death certificates there were so many of them, and that's what he called them when he showed them to me. s/f Robert
