well that '50' is looking better all the time.
I have still never seen an obverse like that, a completely different die maybe?

and just to throw a spanner in, Waffen-Mike had a 4 marked EK1, with brass pin:

and it turned out to be of post-war construction...

In the very first posts re: the 50, it almost appears you can see the "bend" lines where the awardee made the cross vaulted. With these last pictures posted by Adolph, it's amazing what a good job they did.

Also, there is an obvious difference with the color due to a flash on his camera I would guess. This one is a Tombak piece.

I have to say again. Based on what I see ... this one is a good and unique "50".

Hello guys, thanks a lot for your effort in helping me. I appreciate it very much, but I´m a bit confused now with the KVK1 mm 50. The more I look at it the more I think it´s a copy. The wreath, 2 color pin and dimpling is not regular, I mean some dots are almost together and the are big spaces among them. But you´re the experts, and your opinion is what counts. In the second round of shots I didn´t use flash, that was light from window, I don´t know itf that helps.
