hmmm,
the closest match to an original is an L/18, which has the same 'top tie' to the wreath (between the feet) But your one doesn't have any center viens to the feathers, which is 'nearly' always present.
The only examples I know of without the viens are early types with convex ends to the date box...
I'm still trying to figure out bad from good with these, and I'm on the fence with yours, although IMVHO I don't like the cast look of the reverse... so I'd be as interested as you to hear more opinions.

In this age of repros, It pays to go with a known style, down to almost microscopic details! At least then you know for sure.

I have had this spange for a few years so its mine. I'll put this one on the fence and wait to see which way it falls. It sure doesn't sound good for this one but I will wait a little while before I put it in the fake thread. It's unusual that nobody has an example of this one.
