I have read various statistics on how many EK1' s were awarded in WWII. They range from a low of 300,000 to a high of 750,000. Maybe I have a little tunnel vision as a collector, but it seems like the EK1 was more common than these numbers indicate, if only because we see so many of them.
Would anyone like to offer an insight and/or educated guess as to how many awards of the EK1 there were in WWII? Thanks.
