    What case is this??

    Case looks good, has a Hauptmuenzamt-sticker.
    Paer hinge has been "repaired"
    Inlet looks original as well, but what was in this case????
    Some kind of non-portable award??

            I would say a non military award, probably a non-portable award, table medal?

                  My initial thought as well, a non-portable award.

                  It's too small for a pocket-watch IMO, and it lacks depth.

                  Wouldn't expect a pocket-watch in a case from Hauptmuenzamt Wien, but you can never know.....
