I just received the case and evaluation back from Niemann. As it turns out, it is in fact a reproduction.

Does he state why it is a reproduction ? I don't agree it's a 'reproduction' or rather made with that intention as such.

Can we have some qualitification of the opinons i.e explanations please.

He provided the standard "Expertise" certificate in german. It simply states that:
This case is not a period original, but a modern colletors production. The example does not conform to kown, period produced examples.
It would have been nice to know more, but I suppose the above is about all one can expect for the modest fee.
