Need an opinion on this RK case pls.

Hi Andrew,
I cant tell you for certain what your case is,but I can tell you what its not.Its not a 57 case from the 70s or 80s.The material for the liner in these is quite different from yours.
At present I have four of these later 57 cases.

Just let my CASED 57 RK to show up. Nice original CASED example. The button seems to be identical as the one presented here. The cross was bought from a respected AM nearly 2 years ago... Any opinions Gentlemen?

According to the seller (I have no doubt he was telling the truth) the whole SET is ORIGINAL.

Your set is produced by S&L on this side of 1975. The cross maybe a few years earlier. The case, oaks and cross is different in the early 1957 production. The early production has better/different qualitys and is closer to the Third Reich designs. The cases made back then in the late 50's and early 60's are in limited supply. The type of case shown here is still being prodused. I do not accept these late cases as true 1957 cases.
