as it has been established in previous discussions, niemann is not infallible, or anyone else for that matter. if you do a search in the forum you will find that these cases have a similar contention as with the one surrounding the faithful service award.
marcus posted a pic of one of his kvk cases in a thread in which a similar question arose. you could notice the difference in size in the side arm recessess and the upper opening when you compare it to the case pictured as A. i dont see a problem in how the ring fits in the case btw.
i have cased ek 2's and kvk's. i will take measurements of the recesses and post them for discussion.
