Type "E" is a luxus RK type

I really would love it if it can be in my collection

Well it had to be E, my favourite.

Type D (LDO) as it is the only one I have in my collection.

B The blue flocking is just beautiful. E is a close second. It looks like a little RK.

Well I would love to have just one of any of these . But if forced to choose I have to agree with Jim and pick B. It's beautiful . E does come in at a very close second.

                Type C is a 1914 EK2 case.

                I wouldn't consider it appropriate for a 1939 EK2...Tom

I have to agree with this statement! How rare is it to find an EKII in the case? And which case typemight be the rarest of the rare? Also, what kind of money would you need to layout for a cased EKII?

The ones shown here are very nice indeed!

B and E I would say are fakes, certainly B in my opinion and I think so of E too.

Marcus, my friend, I am afraid you are totally right on B, and I am afraid you are totally wrong on E

Yeah I would need better pic's of E, this is a genuine catch form as it it copied too. But thanks for the direction mate and a Happy New Year !

I'll tell you the ones I am really dubious of, the RK and EK2 cases with the inch or so from the edge of the case lid (outside) incuse line - there is a genuine one similar but the form these take and availability makes me wonder alone on that !!

I'll find a pic of the one I really don't trust. I'd love to have an example of the exact type to look over.

I voted D, I have an affection with these LDO marked cases. I do not mind if the LDO logo is on the in -or outside.
Eventually I do like them all and want them all.

                          Cheers.

                            Case A is a standart case for a KVK2
Case C is a 1914 EK2 case (typical WWI locking)
Case D is a standard 1939 EK2 case (late version with small LDO-logo)

i disagree with your case a statement. the kvk would have the side arms rest smaller. this is an ek2 case.

This EK2 with this case (case A) is the only, which Niemann had the last seven years. All other EK2 were in the standard etui (case D). This picture is no reason for me to believe that this case is a typical EK2 case. I believe that anybody had change the KVK2 with an EK2, because it shows better. You see it, because the ribbon ring has not enough places.
