Hi Pascal. I took the above pictures last week during my visit to the Obersalzberg. I am no specialist in these but thought the Demjansk looked wrong. The old guest house used by Bormann has been "restored" rather badly and turned into an information center with an access to part of the underground system. As I said, these shields were in display cabinets so I stuck the camera to the glass and here they are. Here's a picture of the building last week....Attached Files

I'm going over there next month, so I'll pay that building a visit.
The last time I was at the Obersalzberg, the old Platterhof was still standing and the snow was about 3' deep. It took about 3 hours to climb up to the Kehlstein as the buses were off and the lift was shut for the winter. So I've decided to make it a late summer visit this time. I'm not getting any younger.
It's absolutely my favourite part of the world.
