Coleman has good reason to change his phone number, it's so you can't return any of his bad, dodgey, repro, made up, altered items or the many people catch up with him that he has ripped off. Run for your life mate, buy out of oz or stick to the eastand for the best prices and honest gear. Regards johnno.

      Australian Sellers

      Hi,
buying out of Australia is okay but dont write home based stuff off. Its there Ive picked up a number of items at Auctions, Garage Sales, Council Cleanup, the dealers are okay when our dollar is low and you do your research. I picked up a great CCC for about $200US at the time from I S Wrights and a great Erel Standard Visor Artillery E/M for $850AU then about $500US. Buying overseas is expensive with postage, a pain with edged weapons and always a chance of being 'lost'.
      cheers Robert

If you are only going to collect locally here you are really going to limit the quality and diversity of your collection. I've bought over seas hundreds of items and never lost one. Use common sense and register your packages. And i have bought and traded alot of items locally and where you may sometimes find a bargain, all of my best items have come from overseas. Regards John.

Being in Australia we unfortunately are limited with "local" scores. They are few and far between. Also I wouldn't trust very much coming out of Wrights as a lot I've seen are way over priced OR fake. I agree daggers are best found locally due to our ever increasing and changing stupid import laws. But rarely do I see a good SA dagger sold here for under $1000 when you can pick one up here for a few hundred less. I believe I've scored 1 well priced item locally AND 2 from local WAF members against ever other item in my collection which has come from overseas. I would much rather secure my items here but there are next to NO decent TR sellers here. There is one or two new comers (WAF members) who are making the step into the market and I hope they do well. The ones who have made their name here(we know who they are) have ripped off that many people with the fake and made up crap they prey on the new collectors.....which in turn destroys these new collectors when they find out how much money they have wasted.

Join the Aussie collector corner and put the word out and also contact the Aussie members here and get them to give you a heads up when they are selling items.

            Cheers
            Mark

Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Quote - Sophie Scholl - White Rose resistance group
