Looking at this sellers other items, both for sale and previously sold, its nothing short of criminal!!
At least 3 of the KM Clasps & Small battle units badges all with fake Juncker mark, a cased example at over £200, just about everything fake....
      This medalbar sold for £189.....
      s-l1600 (136).jpg
He also sold a cased PLM for almost £9000, I hope for the buyers sake it was genuine, but with this sellers track record????????

          Buyers beware .....

Just noticed this update on Kai Winkler History Shop .... 100% fake.

I've sent Mr. Winkler an e-mail stating same is fake ... curious what he will do.
He should either remove it from sale, or mark as reproduction and price accordingly.

            Hi,

I know, that some here in this section want to kill me, but I don't see a "fake".

It is a 1957er medal bar with some 57er decorations and two copies (Ostvolk medal and Hindenburg cross). The pieces are not made in the best quality, but they look like that, what the German ministry of the interior showed in the 1958 paper.

Kai Winkler wrote nothing wrong with "... in der Ausführung ab 1957." (... in the version since 1957.).

              Hi Uwe,

I agree with you, technically these 57er pieces are not fakes. Just modern produced, probably abroad somewhere in china.... never the less they hold no value to the typical collector of 57er period awards. Collectors need to be careful to avoid such pieces.

              Regards,
              Alex

                Another modern produced 57er Bar?

This is up on US ebay by a seller named history1901. Do we consider this a recent make or is it period from late 1950s or 1960s? It looks a lot like ones earlier in this post. Seller is in US but it looks like all his stuff comes from Germany.

A modern Chinese reproduction, currently for sale on with dealer Thomas Huss at 295 Euro

I have informed him via his website about the issue with this item .... guess he overlooked this one, as he normally is very correct as to his items on offer.

Hahahaha, good one Nigel. Yes, I like the way he has "aged" the ribbons, probably with some lanolin or grease or some other ****.
