8-place with lots of devices spanning from WW1-1957!

Is there anyway to track/find a DKiG holder with 1914 EK2 and 1939 EK1? Given the Romanian Order, I believe this belonged to an Officer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hi Pierce!!
Great new addition there! and nice to see it added to all the rest in your thread!!
I think this latest ribbonbar is very interesting and possibly unique!! No doubt someone will point out how "this" is wrong and "that"is wrong, and "that" shouldn't be worn with "the other" etc etc but I think we have all seen enough 57 bars by now, especially ribbonbars, to know that many vets went their own way on order and assembly, and it seemed makers/ retailers were quite happy to oblige!!
I would think that it might be possible to find a name to go with it, but it could be a long haul? You might try dropping Mark Yeager a PM, he has written many books on DK holders, and i'm sure he has lists available to him that most others don't!!!!!!!!!!
      Good Hunting!!!

Thanks for your comment and the advise Nigel. I will certainly do that.

I guess the only thing "wrong" with this piece is that the second long service should probably be silver (4 years) as per the Third Reich regulations but it makes sense to me that the veteran wanted to show his continued service this way, so no concerns on my part! For example I have seen some Third Reich made pieces only using one service device to represent two and also the wrong colour of devices being used, etc.

        Best regards
        Pierce

Pierce. Nice example, especially because it is Ek 1914!

Here are some new additions I have obtained over the past few months.

Frist up is this grouping with Baltic Cross miniature and Finnish ribbons!

Here is a group I really like!
A former army paratrooper, with the Dutch Order of Orange-Nassau.
