Hi gents and friends
At first i have to say "Thank you" to a collector friend here who stood back and so i was able to get this nice grouping
Here is now my highlight for this year (last year the Dreike RK) and i´m really sure that this group will be for a very very very long not for sale
As you see there are the following awards:
- "Kreuz der Ehrenritter" of the Johanniter Order
- DKiG
- ribbon bar
- PAB 50
- EK I
- GWB
The group is attributed to "Ernst-Jürgen Freiherr von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen".
Born 15.06.1917 / died 29.10.1993
- DKiG as Oberleutnant 7./Panzer-Regiment 31 on 10.02.1944
- Hauptmann in the I.(Panther)/Pz.Rgt. Brandenburg (ex I./Pz.Rgt. 26).
- wounded in action 14.04.45
- at the end of the war he was at the eastern front, got not captured and took the long way home alone - running and hiding
- in 1956 he joined the Bundeswehr as Major
- Commander and teacher at Heer Officers School in Hamburg
- Commander Panzerbatallion 24/ Panzer Regiment 6 from 18.02.64 - 03.10.67
That is all i could get from this brave man. I sent a few mails to a few sources, hoping to get a response to find out something more about him.
Sometimes aristocratic familys "protect" their family and don´t want to be asked about a member. So it maybe will be a long run to find out more.
But what i have at first brings IMO a short, but good overview about this brave man.

For me this is a very honest and consistent grouping. All awards seems to have the same production date and IMO all have been bought at the same time.
Date of production IMO early 60s.
