    Early Deumer IAB

Feast your eyes upon what I feel is very a nice IAB. The detail and burnishing are really special IMO.

    Deumer hardware to the reverse...

Perfectly lovely, Mike, and excellent photos as usual.

Some wartime versions I've seen of these have contoured edges to the rifle. Do 57ers exist with this feature?
            Best regards,

Very nice to see some Deumers.
Here are mine: My silver badge is so worn that there is no burnishing visible anymore.

Really nice Infantry Assault, very crisp details, and a great looking finish!! 10 out of 10 for condition, it would be hard to find a nicer example i think -Nigel

Thanks for all the replies gents! I think this is a pretty special badge.
Who says 57er's are not of good quality? Yes there are the modern collectors pieces, but this is another example that causes me to be proud to participate in this field of collecting. The early, vet owned, high quality pieces are beautiful and full of history and character.

Thanks Trev. I have not encountered one as you describe. Not to say they do not exist, I just haven't seen one.

Here you go. Same as yours. Except that the silver IAB has been worn for a few years.
Some people call it abused, but this is how I prefer my 57 items!

But nice to see you went for a Deumer.
They are IMO harder to find and more beautifull than the S&L's.

Definitely harder to find than S&L pieces!

I like both minty frsh pieces and worn pieces. I have an equal appreciation for both.

Both of yours are very nice, early and beauiful pieces!
The bronze has an interesting tone/patina to it.

Mike, what method do you use to take those great photos?
