Here is an example of the green cap, a dark and unmistakable color, and constructed of wool.

Dear Alls
I have this cap on my hand today and im trying to add in my collection and let me tell you an important thing:CAP COVER IS GREEN seen on hands and with sunlight even more... I took there a khaki version( that I own) to compare both and for sure is not khaki, no gray and no faded and I read usually(usually I understand not all) all green covers for US NAVY pilots were wool made(see thread below) and so what we have here?

I could find a similar cap in this site, dealer is selling a green visor with navy device aa USCG, may be something is wrong and apart what have we here this time, another green cover but is not wool made and so NO AVIATOR one or really existed US NAVY green aviators caps but not wool made??
